The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy study of herbomineral drug LAH Capsule in Hepatitis-B and Hepatitis-C patients who were admitted in Lavanya Ayurvedic Hospital & Research Center For Cancer, Hepatitis and AIDS. The study was conducted after getting ethical clearance. Total 50 patients of Hepatitis in Which 11 patients was Hepatitis-c and 39 Patients were Hepatitis-B. These patients were enrolled in Lavanaya hospital . These patients were suffering only from Hepatitis-c and Hepatitis –B not any other diseases. All patients having medication ayuredic herbomineral drug LAH Capsule for more than one month treatment. After obtaining prior consent form these patients, venous blood samples was collected from the subjects before and after treatment with herbomineral drug LAH Capsule and measured the hematological and biochemical examinations along with Viral Load. A percentage levels (99.33% and 66.79% )of Viral Load in Hepatitis- B and Hepatitis-C patients were reduced in 50 treated patients as compared to before treated 50 patients . There was also significant reduced parentage level 14.63% ESR in patients after treatment with LAH Capsule more than one month as compared with before treatment. A significant reduction of hepatic enzymes (SGOT, SGPT, ALP and LDH ) in patients after treatment with drug. These findings suggested that LAH Capsule is most effective medicine for prevention hepatitis-B and Hepatitis-C
The study was conducted after getting ethical clearance from Institutional human ethic committee. Total 50 Hepatitis patients with age (25-65 years) were Lucknow city of Lavanya Ayurvedic Hospital and Research Center. These patients were only suffering from Hepatitis-B and Hepatitis not from any organic diseases. After obtaining prior consent form, venous blood samples was collected from the subjects before (pre) and after treatment (post) with herbomineral drug LAH Capsule under aseptic condition. The drug was given to these patients for two months. After collection of blood sample, serum and plasma were separated by centrifugation at 4000 rpm for 10 min. at room temperature for measurement of hematological, biochemical parameters along with in pre and post treated patients.
All hematological and biochemistry parameters hemoglobin (Hb), alkaline phosphate (ALP), Serum glutamate oxaloacetate transminase (SGOT), Serum glutamate pyurvate transminase (SGPT) parameters were measured by fully automatic cell counter and clinical chemistry analyzer.
LDH activity was measured by kit according to protocol provided by supplier (Tranasia biomedical). The activity was expressed as an IU/ml.
Serum viral load levels were measured by using a reverse transcriptase–polymerase chain reaction technique (Amplicor Monitor-v1.5; Roche, Basel, Switzerland) with cryopreserved samples. The lower limit of detection of the assay was 200 copies/mL.
Resulting data were expressed mean ± SD. Percentage parenthesis was observed between pre vs post treatment with LAH drug in hepatitis patients.
There were reduction Percentage level of Viral load(IU/ml) in Hepatitis-C 66.79% in patient Pre treated group is comparison to patient Post treated group and reduction Percentage level of Viral load(IU/ml) in Hepatitis-B 95.33% in patient Pre treated group in comparison to patient Post treated group. VIEW CHART
ESR level was also found in hepatitis-B 14.63% decreased in the patients after treatment with LAH Capsule in comparison to pre treatment. and also Hepatitis-C 6.16% decreased in the patients after treatment with LAH Capsule in comparison to pre treatment. VIEW CHART
There were slightly increased Hb(%), hematocrit and RBC levels in patient treated group as compared with patient pre treated group . VIEW CHART
There were significant 11.64% and 64.67% reduction of LDH and ALP enzyme activities in Hepatitis-B patients post treated group in comparison to patient pre treated group . In Hepatitis-C 29.76% and 10% reduction of LDH and ALP enzyme activities is comparison to patient pre treated group post treated group. VIEW CHART
On the basis of these findings it is suggested that the herbomineral drug LAS capsule is safe and most effective medicine for prevention of Hepatitis (Hepatitis-B and Hepatitis-C )diseases.
