Man is not just body; he has a mind too. Mind enshrines his prakriti as well as vikriti or his nature or certain disorders. These are classified in three catagories- Satva, Rajas and Tamas. Just as bodily disorders have a spell on the mind, mental disorders also affect the body. Mind is the seat of control and energy in the body. Kundalini which is the power house of energy has a passage in terms of seven chakras- starting from Muladhar, Swadhishtan, Manipur, Anahat, Vishuddhi, Agya and Sahasrar through which energy flows. These chakras govern energy flow through endocrine glands, prostate, fallopian tube, gonads, Pancreas, Thymus, Thyroid, Pituitary, Pineal glands that secrete various hormones through which various functions of the body are performed.
